Formula 1® is the premier sporting event in the auto-racing world. In 2008, Singapore hosted the first Formula 1® night race on a street circuit, making history and further propelling Singapore as a world-class lifestyle destination.
Singapore GP sought to enhance the Formula 1® race experience with a platform that would drive engagement and allow race-goers to navigate the three-day event with ease.
They worked with us to reconstruct their app for a brand new experience that includes an entire range of key features to allow users to enhance their Formula 1® experience for the event.
The Singapore GP F1 application – a free for use mobile app that covers pre-events, actual events and post-events. It is a one-stop app for race-goers to obtain information without the hassle of flipping through a physical brochure.
Users are be able to browse the full schedule of race/performance dates and time as well as create a personalized schedule. Data will be used to contribute towards personalised content and push notifications.
The Interactive Circuit Park Map integrates geolocation (GPS-enabled) into the app to allow users to navigate around the Circuit and find nearby facilities.
Gamification enables points to be collected by users upon completion of activities such as quizzes, which in turn allows them to exchange for merchandise’s vouchers or an exclusive chance to meet the drivers.
With the Singapore GP F1 application, race-goers can now enjoy the 3-day race event with all the information they need to know right at their fingertips! Within a week of launch, we garnered over 3000 new users; with an increase to the App Store rating; climbing the charts from 63 in sports category to number 1.
