PSA Marine (Pte) Ltd has been a leader in the maritime sector since 1964, where it provides integrated marine services – pilotage, towage and offshore wind farm crew transfer to the ports and terminals, oil and gas, shipping and renewable energy sectors. With a team of 1,800 dedicated employees and modern fleet of more than 70 tugs, PSA Marine has a presence in Bangladesh, China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), India, Oman, Peru and Southeast Asia today.
Emails have been one of the traditional channels that corporations utilised to communicate and disseminate information. PSA Marine wanted to explore a more effective communication mode with their harbour pilots as they are constantly on-the-go.
PSA worked closely with us to re-imagine their information and operation flow, using a visual representation of the information to assist harbour pilots and ensure their safety with essential information and real-time updates.
As such, they embarked on a journey with us to develop myDigitalPA mobile application – an app to assist harbour pilots whilst at sea by providing them quick and easy access to important real-time maritime news and updates right at their fingertips.
With a few taps on the preset buttons on myDigitalPA application, the harbour pilots also have an immediate channel to report operational-related matters out at sea. The application also has a custom-built CMS for administrators to create and manage users and zones, plus send out important news. Pilots are able to receive instant feedback and statistics to guide them daily on the sea.
With MyDigitalPA, harbour pilots can now get the latest maritime news and updates with ease through an accessible platform.
